Designed for dynamic viewing angles, the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom aircraft features a 1/2.3-inch 12-megapixel sensor and a dual-optical zoom lens (35mm equivalent focal length: 24mm–48mm). Now you can easily capture everything from wide angle to medium distance and experience more creative shooting. Compared to the 24mm wide-angle lens, the 48mm telephoto lens compresses the viewing angle, enhances parallax and delivers classic cinematic style. For aircraft of this size, this is the first time ever that you can quickly take a more compact picture from 100 meters (109 yards) away, keeping a safe distance when hovering or chasing the subject.

The dual optical zoom lens is powerful enough to constantly adjust to your commands for smooth zoom control and autofocus tracking. This way, you can shoot from a safer, more effective distance, while focusing on the framing while keeping the subject clear.

Fast and precise focus and excellent picture quality

The Mavic 2 Zoom's autofocus feature combines phase and contrast detection for greater focus accuracy and up to 40% faster focus. The AF tracking system keeps the subject sharp and sharp when zooming. Another new Super Res mode allows the onboard camera to automatically zoom, shoot and patch images, automatically generating 48 million pixel super-resolution photos; twice the resolution of the original shots taken in normal field of view.

Zooming while flying

Dolly Zoom is a new Mavic series QuickShot that automatically adjusts focus during flight, giving you an exceptional viewing angle. It can add a strong distorted visual effect to your video. When you control the flight manually, you can also set the appropriate focus speed value to create a more creative way of shooting.

HyperLapse

Say goodbye to the cumbersome post-processing. With the HyperLapse feature, the aircraft captures stable aerial imagery and automates image processing, allowing you to create professional-style time-lapse photography at the touch of a button. Three different modes allow you to experiment with a variety of shots in any time-lapse photography.

Fly farther and see more clearly

The new OcuSync 2.0 delivers up to 8 km (5 miles) of 1080p video transmission, allowing you to fly freely. With the cache on your iPhone or iPad, you can directly edit HD movie footage and upload it to social media. In addition, the original image captured in flight can be automatically saved to the Micro SD card.

Mavic 2 Zoom supports 2.4 to 5.8 GHz auto-switching, which excels in environments with high signal interference, ensuring safe, uninterrupted flight at the most appropriate frequency.

High bandwidth, low latency

OcuSync 2.0 features a wider communication bandwidth, theoretical download speeds of up to 40 Mbps, and latency as low as 100 milliseconds for smoother video feeds and a better overall control experience.

The Mavic 2 Zoom's low-noise propellers and newly designed fuselage have been researched and tested for a long time, making it one of DJI's most advanced aerodynamic aircraft to date, with a body drag that is 19% less than Mavic Pro. Thanks to this, the entire aircraft has stronger propulsion, lower power consumption and less noise. In addition, the Mavic 2 is equipped with an obstacle avoidance sensor on each side of the fuselage. With the fully upgraded FlightAutonomy system, data can be continuously transmitted to a new, more powerful central processor for more accurate obstacle avoidance and safer flight.
